Chalk Farm Foodbank continues to open its doors each week which is staffed by our trained volunteers and well attended by people in the community, usually a rolling number of households a week. People may be on the five-week delay of universal benefit, a pensioner with a sudden bill, homeless, on a low income e.g. due to zero-hours contracts, and of course the virus is impacting on available work.
We need your help, each week our stock is running low on basic essentials. All of your effort to donate enable us to support those who are really struggling to gain access to food.
Please donate much-needed items to us such as:
UHT Milk
Long-life Juice
Shampoo and Condtioner
Household cleaning products
Nuts
Jam
Wraps (long shelf life)
Updated 22nd June
Donation drop days and times are:
Wednesdays 11.30-1 pm (Until the end of July)
Thursdays 1-2.30 pm.
At: Chalk Farm Baptist Church Berekly Rd Nw1 8YS.
Apologies if we don’t always answer the phone, we prioritise the people when we are open.
